Kingsman is an American comic book series created by writer Mark Millar and artist Dave Gibbons, with an uncredited concept contribution from filmmaker Matthew Vaughn. The series debuted in 2012 with the graphic novel The Secret Service, published by Icon Comics, an imprint of Marvel Comics. Set within Millar's shared Millarworld universe, the story follows Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin, a troubled young man from a London housing estate, who is recruited by his uncle Jack London into a clandestine, impeccably tailored independent intelligence agency known as Kingsman.
