Daimon Hellstrom (Son of Satan) / Satana (Marvel Comics)

Daimon Hellstrom and Satana Hellstrom are Marvel Comics characters created during the early 1970s horror boom. Daimon Hellstrom, also known as the Son of Satan, first appeared in Ghost Rider (vol. 2) #1 (September 1973), created by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Herb Trimpe. He is a human-demon hybrid, the son of the demon Marduk Kurios, who wields dark magical powers and often struggles with his infernal heritage. The character quickly became popular enough to star in his own feature in Marvel Spotlight #12-24, followed by a brief self-titled series, The Son of Satan.

Satana Hellstrom, Daimon's younger sister, debuted shortly after in Vampire Tales #2 (October 1973), created by Roy Thomas and John Romita Sr. Known as the Devil's Daughter, Satana is also a human-demon hybrid who consumes souls and possesses supernatural abilities. Both characters have appeared across numerous Marvel titles over the decades, including the Defenders, the Midnight Sons, and various solo series, cementing their place in Marvel's supernatural corner. Their complex sibling dynamic โ€” torn between their demonic father and their humanity โ€” has been a recurring theme in their storylines.
